Dane and Julia (v1.0)

I've been going through Dane and Julia's pictures, and they aren't all as bad as I thought they were going to be.  To my surprise, there are a ton that I really liked.  So many, in fact, I actually have to do 2 blog posts!  I've gotten up to the reception in my editing and hope to have them all done soon.  So here are some of my faves from their rehearsal dinner up to just after the ceremony.

Like Father, Like Son!  Neither one of them sat down the whole night.

Sora flipped out when she saw her daddy standing up at the alter and poor little Joah was just walking too slow.  You can see my sweet friend Maya in the background REFUSING to walk down.  Oh well, thus is life with a 2 year old!

Nothing says I Love You like a good fist pump!

More crappy pictures to come soon!!!

my order from simply canvas

I just got an email from my fave canvas company, Simply Canvas.  They liked an image I sent in and made a little video of it being born!  Thanks guys!  That's very cool.

dancin' with the queen of hearts

Since my travel schedule for Tina and Kumar's wedding had my flying in and out of Atlanta, it was perfect timing for me to model for my 4 favorite kickin female photographers and their GIRLS ONLY photography workshop, Love Affair.  The Love Affair girls hold a special place in my heart and so I was so happy that I could turn around and give back to them.  While this was a workshop for the girls who actually payed to be there, I learned a lot of lessons as well.  I've never spent much time in front of the camera, so it was a learning experience for me.  It really helped that they gave me by far the best "character" to play.  It the Mad Hadder and The Queen of Hearts were to have a love child, I was it!  Anyway, back to my lessons.  Not only did I get to feel what my clients feel like when they're asked to do crazy things that feel completely off the wall, but I also have had to feel the anticipation of having to WAIT FOR WHAT FEELS LIKE AN ETERNITY to see the final result...and I only had to wait 2 weeks!!  I'm so sorry to all of you who have been seriously waiting forever.  I'm going to be posting an MVP update soon because there has been a lot going on.

Anyway, Candice from The Beautiful Mess is the first one from my group to have her pictures up (at least that I've found).  I LOVE THEM!  Please check out her full blog post and let her know what a fab job she did.  It's hard to pick a favorite, but here's one that I grabbed from her post.

TIna and Kumar's Same Day Edit

I photographed Tina and Kumar's wedding in Orlando a couple of weeks ago.  It was another great wedding with the girls of Kis3 Event Planning.  Here is the same day edit the guys from Simply Cinematic did and showed at the reception.

worst wedding ever

I've always talked about how much I love my clients and bragged about how I've never had a bridezilla.  Well, I shot myself in the foot.  It's official, I had the worst wedding ever.  It was hot.  The bride and groom couldn't have cared less about each other.  The families weren't speaking and the bridal party all hated each other.  In fact, i don't even think they knew anyone in their bridal party.  I'm pretty sure they just went to the gym and picked out the prettiest people there.  I did the best I could with what little was given to me, but it isn't much.  Since I blog everything, I couldn't leave them out because I don't want to create any more tension than there already is between us.

Here you go, whatever.

No one seemed to enjoy the reception at all.

I don't know why they wanted a picture with me.  We fought like cats and dogs all day.

If you haven't already picked up on it, I'm totally kidding.  The real pictures are coming soon!!!
